As indicated in a report recently published by Fast Company, there is a strong likelihood that Apple will only be making 8 million units of last year’s flagship, the iPhone X, for the second quarter of this year. It goes without saying that 8 million units is a ridiculously low number, at least by Apple’s standards. According to some estimates, the tech giant had managed to ship more than 216 million units of its smartphone offering in its fiscal 2017 year, and during the first three months of this year, the company is said to have sold about 54 million iPhones.
