This is where SnapLogic comes in. Their simple and fast IaaS-based enterprise integration platform empowers enterprise IT organizations and lines of business to connect apps, things and data.
Perhaps the best way of looking at the company and its Enterprise Integration Cloud is as a universal translator for digital transformation.
This is an important area for companies to focus on - as a recent Vanson Bourne/Snaplogic survey has shown, the enterprise expects to generate on average $5.2 million more in revenue by using data more effectively.
A full 74% say their organizations have more data than ever and are struggling to use it to help generate useful business insights. Amazingly, and this is a stat which is greater than you might expect, organizations expect a 547% return on their data investment.
In an exclusive interview with Janet Jaiswal, VP Product Marketing, she told us the company has 1,300 subscription customers, processes one trillion documents per month and has a 95% subscription renewal rate. Their CEO Guarav Dhillon, was a cofounder of Informatica - a company which can do similar things but lacks the simplified and holistic interface of the all-in-one SnapLogic solution.
SnapLogic has also invested in a community with 14 categories allowing questions to be answered by peers, partners and SnapLogic employees. They offer a 30-day risk-free trial and are able to sell globally.
Janet explained that a customer of theirs had a need as their field service team was not armed to answer customer questions relating to support tickets, finance and accounting information. SnapLogic helped bring this information to the field personnel, allowing them to now have access to customer likes, dislikes, the types of promotions they received and where the potential opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling could be.
Janet explained that this customer now has a holistic or 360 degree view. Moreover, one department in an organization typically uses SnapLogic based on a need such as the one above... Then, over time, other departments learn about the success and adopt SnapLogic for their needs.
The idea is, the solution works with all the important systems in an organization.
This is especially important as a typical organization looks like this.
SnapLogic offers 450 pre-built connectors allowing the system to do things like pull data from one source, convert it to CSV, filter it, sort it, perform some function on it and then export it to another application.
They have an AI-based integration assistant named IRIS which helps define the steps without the need to code. This is the power of the solution as IT doesn't need to be involved. Just drag-and-drop.
The future goal is for the system to use NLP to allow you to connect your data as easily as you ask Alexa to play I am the Walrus from the Beatles.
Other recent additions are SnapLogic eXtreme for building data lakes less expensively and more efficiently as well as SnapLogic ML which is pre-designed with various ML algorithms allowing for experimentation to see which approach yields the best results.
As Janet reminds us, ML modeling needs good and clean data and SnapLogic already does this and is a natural complement to organizations looking to put their unused data to work to determine trends and opportunities.
Organizations looking to digitally transform should be aware of the challenge data silos has on their efforts. In addition, as AI is becoming a crucial technology for companies to adopt, SnapLogic stands ready to become the universal translator for data, devices and apps.
